Fused Magnesite ( FM )
Fused magnesite is produced in electric arc furnace by fusing super grade-A raw magnesite finely selected or granules of high purity caustic calcined magnesite, which is featured with high purity, big crystalline, dense structure, good slag resistance, and good stability against thermal chocks. It is a good high-temerature electroinsulating material as well as major raw material in making high grade magnesia brick, magnesia carbon brick, and magnesia monolithic refractories.
